Pay and Display Car Parks

These are shown in pink on the map. Parking fees apply from 8.00a.m. – 6.00p.m. Monday to Saturdays – except Public Holidays. The cost of parking in these car parks is subject to change (any changes will be published in the Official Government gazette and newspapers, and will also be displayed on the pay and display machines at each car park). Parking in Pay and Display Car Parks can also be restricted in order to provide short-term parking for shoppers e.g. parking in No. 1 Car Park both inside and outside, is restricted to “two hours maximum – one visit per day”. Payment for parking in Pay and Display Car parks can be made as follows: -

• By purchasing a pay and display ticket from one of the coin-operated machines located in the car park where you intend to park.
• By purchasing a monthly parking permit from City Hall. The cost of these permits depend on the car park you wish to use. For more information inquire at City Hall (Tel: 292-1234).
• An “E” Card device will soon be available for use in parking in any pay and display car park, and for parking on any street in the voucher parking area.
• The Corporation is also looking at providing a facility for using your credit cards to purchase parking tickets.
