A Guide to Parking in the City of Hamilton

This section is designed to indicate the general rules for parking in Hamilton, both on the streets and in car parks owned by the Corporation of Hamilton.

Please note that there are additional parking restrictions. For example, cars cannot park in loading zones, taxi stands, in areas marked by yellow lines, on pedestrian crossings, in bus stops, cycle bays or doctors parking bays etc. It is also against the law – and dangerous – to “double-park” on any street in the City of Hamilton.

For more information about the general rules of parking in Bermuda it is recommended that you also read the Traffic Code.
